Description
Plough Anchors are very popular on yachts, an anchor with a single leg in the shape of a double plough connected by a movable joint with the shank. After sinking to the bottom, the anchor’s paw easily sinks into the bottom regardless of the position in which the anchor drops. It does not require any preparation for throwing other than releasing the chain or anchor line. Provides reliable hold almost immediately after sinking to the bottom. Resistant to impact and abrasion, it is perfect for placing it on the bow. It sticks poorly to the bottom overgrown with algae.
Made in the best quality malleable iron and hot dip galvanized. Fitted with an eye on the horn for tripping.
